“Choose your city carefully and live there for several months first before buying a house and setting up a business.”
― Darice Cairns
Before buying any real estate, I have some important tips here for you that you should keep in mind. Making hasty decisions without proper planning can cost you time. Money. And convenience.
Here are some easy steps for you to follow if the property you’re looking at is right for you.
1. If it is a property that needs improvement, such as new carpet or flooring, you can stay in there while the work is done. This is especially true if you sell your property to buy a new one.
You don’t want to live in a motel while major repairs are carried out. If you intend to move in as soon as you have the property, make sure it is habitable.
2. No matter where you are, do not try to find a property without doing research in and around your price range. Unless you have reason to believe that you are being played, do not settle for anything.
There may well be a house down the road that is half the price and has everything you want in a house. Make sure you speak to a few estate agents and do some online research before you put any money down.
3. You should always have the property inspected before you buy. There are things you will not see if you do not know how to inspect. If the seller tells you to use their inspector, do NOT believe him/her or use their inspector.
Even if it’s true, some people will make sure something has gone wrong and hire the person who tells them everything is fine when it’s not. Get someone who is outside the area of the property so that you can know if it is not being overwhelmed with damage.
There you go!
These are certain things you need to know beforehand, just to run over what should go on your bucket list for your homework. It needs to be done slowly. Don’t rush! And that’s a good thing because it usually saves you a lot of money.
And if all you are doing is putting this information on a property to sell later, it will probably take a few months for the majority of cases to complete a sale.
1. You will have to clean up the property and find a buyer.
2. If you can’t do it right, you might as well spend your money on something where you’re just going to pour it all down the drain.
3. Make sure you get a deal where you pay some profit so you do not waste your opportunity.
Action for Today
- Start by researching all available properties in your price range.
- Talk to a few real estate agents.

This will give you peace of mind to help you avoid costly mistakes. Just be patient! Keep hustling and you will be fine. You’ll get the house you want at a good price.
Wrap Up!
Your careful attention to detail and patience are essential when purchasing real estate. This is a big financial decision. So take the time to research. Inspect the property thoroughly. And make sure you get the best deal. Following these tips will help you avoid mistakes and make the process smoother.

“…YouTube is upping its game to compete with TikTok?
Yes, they’re adding cool stuff for creators on YouTube Shorts, like live video, fancy effects, collabs (where you can create with someone else) and Q&A (where viewers can ask questions). I might try it out on my upcoming new YouTube channel in the future. But if you have a YouTube channel, give it a try! It’s all about keeping you up to date!”
Tech-Tip 101 INSIDER SECRET:
Schedule Your Emails for Better Timing
“When you write an email at 1am, have the sense to schedule it to send in the morning, when you know the person you’re emailing is more likely to look at it. In Gmail, you can accomplish this by clicking the Arrow (adjacent to your Send Button) and import with ‘Schedule Send‘. This functionality is present in other email providers, as well. That way you can ensure your email gets opened and not deleted at the right time!”
